COMPLAINTS CAN BE REGISTERED AT sukhbirbadal2014@gmail Batala, December 17: In order to ensure complete transparency and accountability in the functioning of government offices, any kind of written complaint could be registered at sukhbirbadal2014@gmail which has been especially created to closely monitor the government offices. These complaints received on this account would be addressed on priority and strict action would be taken against the erring officials. Disclosing this today Deputy Commissioner Gurdaspur Dr. Abhinav Trikha said that this account of the deputy chief minister was operational since July this year. He said that all the departments have been issued instructions to dispose of the complaints received on this portal within a month. He also said that strict departmental action would be initiated against the officers found guilty of not sorting out the complaints within a stipulated time frame. Dr. Trikha further clarified that the deputy chief minister has specifically directed the administration that if the complainant did not appear in person then he should be contacted on phone. The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the people of Gurdaspur to register their grievances on the social media portal especially created in the larger public interest. The Deputy Chief Minister and the concerned departmental secretaries have also been briefed about the action taken on the complaints.
