CONFERENCE on Bangladesh: Democracy, War Crimes Trial and Shahbagh Movement Thursday, 4 July 2013, 4pm-6pm Montefiore Centre, Hanbury Street, London E1 5HZ The International Committee for Democracy in Bangladesh (ICDB), the Netherlands in collaboration with the UK Nirmul Committee (International Forum for Secular Bangladesh) will be holding a Conference in London on Thursday, 4 July 2013, 4pm-6pm at the Montefiore Centre, Hanbury Street, London E1 5HZ on the political developments in Bangladesh. The Conference aims at broadening international support towards the democratic process in Bangladesh and the on-going 1971 War Trial. The London Conference also aims at informing different stakeholders including the Euro & British parliamentarians/policy makers regarding the ongoing process of seeking justice so as to generate moral and political support and thwart the propaganda of the fundamentalist Jamaat e Islami against the trial in and outside Bangladesh.
