CONFLICT RESOLUTION (Gen 21:22-34). The management of conflict using peaceful, non-violent methods has been an age-long approach. Abimelech recognized Gods presence with Abraham and he went further to negotiate a peaceful co-existence between the both of them. It got to a stage where Abrahams well which he dug was seized by his partners servant. To many of us, there will surely be a breached in contract or agreement resulting in conflict bt he showed maturity. Maturity is never a matter of age but the function of the mind. He refused any form of violent approach bt handled it carefully between them both. Violence is never a right approach to resolving conflict, we should therefore avoid it. Abraham even extended the treaty to the on-coming generation. [...]
