CONGRATULATIONS CARBONDALE !!!!! — Carbondale has been voted one of the top 10 ac tive towns in the countr y by read - ers and par ticipants in a poll by Outside, which bills itself as “America’s leading ac tive-lifestyle publication,” according to a release by the T ourism Council of Carbondale. Park City, Utah, won the top ranking in the list, while others in the top 10 included Bozeman, Mont.; San Diego, Calif.; Boston, Mass.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; Spokane, Wash.; Greenville, S.C.; Honolulu, Hawaii; and Waitsfield, Vt. As one of the “best active town” finalists, Carbondale will be featured in the September issue of Outside Magazine, due on newsstands today.
