CONGRATULATIONS CHIEF SUNDAY OJIBA! Congratulations are in order as the entire people of Ubulu Uku, on behalf of the Anioma nation, rejoice with the Ojiba of Ubulu Uku Chief Sunday Ojiba, and his wife on the safe delivery of a set of twins. Sadly, they lost one of them. We are however, glad that Mother and baby are doing great and we joyfully welcome the baby into our extended Ubulu Uku and Anioma families. We will continue to pray for the babys good health. We have no doubt that Chief Ojiba and family will get through the loss of one of the babies. Our prayers and thoughts are with them. Recall that Chief Ojiba who had been with the royal family from the early age of four and was initiated into chief-hood at eight, was the closest person to Obi Edward Ofulue II. He was the only one permitted by Ubulu Uku tradition to sit on the throne in the absence of the obi. Chief Ojiba was in charge of the palace and consequently, in charge of all the deities in the palace. It was in his line of duty as the Ojiba that he incurred the wrath of Prince Akaeze and his terrorist gang which included the ex convict Udo Okonta, Raphael Okonye, Amechi Ugba, When I met the soft spoken Chief Ojiba at Ubulu Uku, he was not daunted nor bowed by the ordeal he suffered in the hands of Prince Akaeze. He was defiant and declared to me that the late Obi was clear as to who his heir was and did not hide the fact that the Umuogwu of Ubulu Uku, Hrh ..., his first son, was the rightful heir. He still stands by that knowledge and truth as one who grew up in the palace, serving the father of Prince Edward Okwuchukwu and Prince Akaeze Christopher. He has debunked the belief in some quarters that the late Obi Edward Ofulue II did not put his house in order. We are very delighted for this good news of the birth of a baby to Chief Ojiba. Although he lost a couple of teeth to Prince Akaezes goons, the twins are a continued testimony that his manhood remained intact. We rejoice also that he has not wavered in his pursuit of justice in Ubulu Uku and still looks forward to that day, when the Umuogwu of Ubulu Uku, Hrh Edward Okwuchukwu Ofulue, would sit on the throne of Ezemu. Once again, congratulations to you, Ojiba of Ubulu Uku.
