CONGRATULATIONS KAREN! According to Quartz, Australia is ranked 13th as the worlds largest consumers of tea per person annually. Surprisingly, Turkey tops the list with a little over 3kgs per person per year. These results are very deceptive though, the Turkish have a lower population and generally drink their tea once and discard the leaves. While the Chinese will drink the same leaves all day some infused more than 10 times before the leaves are thrown out. They also dont import their tea, they grow it! As the birthplace of tea, they have perfected the art and are very big consumers. Thank you very much to Karen for having a go.
