CONGRATULATIONS, KYOUNG! Our most recent DAISY AWARD Winner! Kyoung has been a dedicated member of the NICU team for 10 years. She is an active participant on her Unit Council and has helped to plan events such as the NICU Preemie Party. She cares deeply about our tiniest patients and their families and took it upon herself to develop an introductory booklet for NICU parents. Kyoung designed the booklet as a valuable supplement to the personal relationships that she and the other nurses establish with families. Excellent care, patient safety and satisfaction are always at the top of Kyoung’s list, and she has been recognized numerous times in patient satisfaction surveys and at Superstar events. Kyoung constantly offers her support to the unit and assumes responsibilities wherever and whenever needed. According to the NICU Assistant Unit Manager, “Kyoung brings new meaning to patient experience and makes parents and families not only feel comfortable, but also assured that their sick baby is well cared for.” Congratulations, Kyoung!
