I witnessed the end of a great war as I became the pis aller. Ready with purpose I was abandoned for deceit. Only one volunteered to be with me yet I carried many. Those who opposed me was killed by the divine force. Those who accepted me was killed by my force. I played an instrumental role in destroying those who I am named after. The name you too will fear but do you really know who I am ?? ANSWER - TROJAN HORSE EXPLANATION Trojan War was waged against the city of TROY (Hence the title - TRY IT ! LOOK IN HISTORY !!) by the Greeks. Trojan War lasted for 9 years yet it wasnt over. The end of the war came with one final plan (Hence pis aller meaning last resource). Odysseus devised a new ruse - a giant hollow wooden horse, an animal that was sacred to the Trojans. The hollow horse was filled with nearly 30 soldiers Ready for purpose - to attack Troy. As per plan Greeks left the battlefield abandoning the horse with one soldier Sinon. He was the only one who volunteered for the task of convincing the Trojans that the wooden horse was an offering from Greeks. Trojans was already celebrating as Greeks left and didnt bother to check the horse and carried it inside Troy considering it as gift. Greeks clearly used the wooden horse for deceit. Trojan priest Laocoön opposed the gift from Greeks and he was killed by Greek god Poseidon (Divine Force) through serpents. Trojans accepted the horse and the army hidden inside horse belly came out at night and killed Trojans. The wooden horse was after all an instrument to carry army and it helped Greeks desTROY Trojans ... the horse is known as Trojan Horse In modern days the Trojan Horse has become synonym to computer virus and hence we fear it.
