CONGRESSMAN KING TO VISIT ISRAEL Congressman Pete King (R-NY) will fly out of JFK Airport this Sunday evening, August 24th, as part of a fact finding mission to Israel organized by the New York Board of Rabbis. Rep. King who is Chairman of the Sub-Committee on Counterterrorism and Intelligence and a number of the Intelligence Committee, has travelled to Israel on a number of occasions during his years in Congress. “It is essential that American officials demonstrate full solidarity with Israel in its struggle against Hamas terrorists,” said Rep. King. “There is no moral equivalency here. Israel is our strong ally defending itself from terrorist attack. Hamas uses its own people as human shields while attacking Israel civilians. The United States must stand with Israel.” Rep. King and the delegation of Rabbis will meet with government and military officials in Israel. Former Governor David Paterson will also be part of the delegation. Congressman King will return to New York on Wednesday, August 27th.
