CONSCIENCE! (part 2) Yesterday we defined what conscience is and equally discussed types of conscience and its purpose. So let us quickly look into killers of conscience and the ways to keep good conscience. KILLERS OF CONSCIENCE 1. Sin- the original and N01 killer of human conscience is sin. When a man found of committing sin regularly, his conscience will be dying gradually. 2. Disobedience- defiance and all forms of noncompliances to any constituted or legitimate authority derailed and seared our conscience. 3. False/wrong confidence- false confidence is any kind of form of courage developed by man to do what is wrong for selfish reason or for personal gain/benefit. 4. Lie- the conscience of a regular lier becomes weaken and subverted each time he lies about anything. In a short while, the conscience dies finally. 5. Frustration- when a man is frustrated to an unbearable point, if such a man is not in Christ, he could suspend his conscience and do what is wrong. 6. Bitterness, evil thoughts, negative intentions, over-ambitious, selfish desires, unguided pleasures, wrong motives, negative priorities, insatiable hunger for anything, etc are equally responsible for dead conscience.
