CONSUMER ALERT: If you or anyone you know anyone received a letter from Bank of America that starts out by saying that if you dont return the form your banking services will be stopped. It includes a form that asks for a lot of personal information including Citizenship, Country of Residence, Source of Income, Source of Wealth, etc., you should ignore it. While Bank of America (BOA) did indeed send this letter out, the have told our attorneys it was a mistake and that the letter and form should be disregarded. They have informed us that a letter from the Feds was misinterpreted to require this information and BOA will be mailing follow up letters stating such.
