CONTRABAND! The entry door leading into a bank is normally a check point! Due to its sensitivity and how it has been programmed, no matter how important or dignified you are, if you have any metallic object on you, even if it is not physically seen, on getting to the door, it will give a warning sound which will alert the security operative at the door. In most cases, until the metallic object or contraband is removed, one may not be able to go into the bank to perform his/her transaction. But at times, the security operative could help in setting a default for you to be allowed to pass through the door. This also applies to anyone who professes to be a child of God. No matter how righteous a man may appear to those around him, no matter how committed he seems to be; no matter the titles he bears; if he has any contraband in his luggage, he will not be allowed to enter in at the pearly gates! Unlike the entry door that leads into a bank; at the pearly gates, no pardon! No help is rendered! After death, no second chance! This is the only time we have to make amendments and do away with any contraband in form of pride, lust, lies, envy, etc. Revelation 21:27 says: And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lambs book of life. My dear Brothers/Sisters, are our names written in the Book of Life? Or have we allowed a contraband in our luggage, which have caused our names to be blotted out? As children of God, we are strangers/pilgrims here on earth; this place is not our home, we are on a journey to Heaven! As we run this race, let us lay aside every weight/sin that so easily besets us! In Revelation 3:11, Jesus said: Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast (the undiluted Truth, the God-given convictions and standards) that no man take thy crown. May our crowns not be given to someone else and our mansions not occupied by another in Jesus name! JESUS IS COMING SOON!
