COOK: 5 star Hotel - Seef Area. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong Chef with at least 5 years experience as a chef... to have a background Arabic, Indian, European and other knowledge from very high standard, have strong administrative skills and flexible. IT technical support officer: Mainly responsible for the smooth running of computer systems and ensuring users get maximum benefits from them. Individual tasks vary depending on the size and structure of the organization, but may include: • installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications; • monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks; • talking staff/clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues; • troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults; • replacing parts as required; • providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports; • following diagrams and written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system; • supporting the roll-out of new applications; • setting up new users accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues; • responding within agreed time limits to call-outs; • working continuously on a task until completion (or referral to third parties, if appropriate); • prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time; • rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, e.g., software developers; • testing and evaluating new technology; • conducting electrical safety checks on computer equipment. SECURITY GUARD 1) Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. 2) Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. 3) Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. 4) Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. 5) Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. 6) Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property. 7) Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed. 8) Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, using force when necessary. 9) Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas. 10) Escort or drive motor vehicle to transport individuals to specified locations and to provide personal protection. 11) Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering. 13) Monitor and adjust controls that regulate building systems, such as air conditioning, furnace, or boiler.
