COPYRIGHTX – AN ONLINE DISTANCE LEARNING COURSE The Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT (AITI-KACE), is pleased to extend a special invitation to MUSIGA to participate in the next batch of the CopyrightX distance learning hybrid course, scheduled to begin on Monday, January 26, 2015. CopyrightX is organized in Ghana by AITI-KACE in collaboration with the Harvard Law School, the HarvardX distance-learning initiative, and the Berkman Center for Internet and Society. CopyrightX is a twelve-week networked course on copyright law which uses a combination of pre-recorded lectures, online and face-to-face discussions, and live webcasts to engage students. The face-to-face discussion sessions allow for effective students interaction and also maintain high commitment levels for the completion of the course. CopyrightX is intended to give participants a deeper understanding and knowledge of copyright law and its related issues. Having its foundation rooted in Creative Commons, this course is free and open to anyone 18 years and older. Participants are required to pay an amount of GHS300 for registration, snacks and incidentals for the 12-week duration. Admitted participants must also fulfill attendance requirements and pass the end-of-course exam in order to obtain a certificate of completion from Harvard Law School.
