COSTA DE LA LUZ & GIBRALTAR WEATHER UPDATE Friday 21st March 2014: Weyhey!!!......Its Friday!!!.........just in case youve forgotten what day of the week your on!!!.......Today that weather is looking rather nice with plenty of that sunny stuff beaming down on you. We are likely to see cloud build again up in those inland areas and as the previous two days have shown, we are likely to see the rather odd shower!!!......Tomorrow its sun for Eastern Cadiz Province and Gib Bay but the Western Cadiz Province, Cadiz itself, Jerez etc. are going to be somewhat overcast with high risk of showers!!!..... However, if your reading this in Huelva Province smile!!!......Your sitting pretty with good old fashioned sunshine!!!........Sunday is looking to be one of those mighty fine days at this time with only fluffy bits in the sky to contend with and Monday is looking to be a fair day with fluffy bits again!!!......Now, its as of Sunday evening that we start to really feel those temperatures drop, particularly in those sheltered and inland areas but not enough to cause frosts!!!.......At this time looking ahead into the week its looking good and our weather turns to come from the warmer waters of the Mid Atlantic as of Tuesday bringing with it warmer air........No early warnings as of yet from us here at the LFWW Network but we are looking at the weather offering a change as of Friday next week and into next weekend and we will keep our beedys on that as we progress. Also, there may be a notable change in the weather for Central and Northern areas of Spain as of Wednesday and those official advisos may be seen in places for wind and rain.....but not down here in the beautiful South!!!........A piece of brilliant news is that risk of flooding to North Sea coasts I spoke of yesterday has receded!!!........As can on occasion happen, those super number crunching computers of the likes of the UKs Met Office, Frances Meteo France, NOAA in the states etc. change their minds overnight and the three mentioned above are now collectively showing the deep depression that was causing me concern to just deplete and evaporate removing the risk altogether and that for me is a good indication to stand down on the threat :) ..... Now, there will be the odd one or two of you wonder Well why mention it in the first place and worry people?........Well, thats what we are about, trying to look ahead and prepare for risk and yesterday it was just that, a risk!!!.........Now, a funny thing happened last night!!!........Being a Fraser and all, and owning my own Kilt, I often get a call from the relatives up in the promised land Scotland, and last night I took one of those calls from young Hamish. It was the usual jovial call and me being me I gave him a brief weather forecast!!!........Ten minutes after our call had finished Hamishs mum, Greta, called me and asked what I had said to him as, on putting down the phone, he had ran strait outside and held out his hands as if to catch something and hasnt moved since?.....I merely pointed out that I had said there is going to be change in the weather!!!.......Honestly; in my humble opinion, they need to drop Gaelic from the school curriculum as it is clearly having a negative effect on intelligence!!!........and on that note, Im off to the Airport. Apparently my three Camels out in the Middle East are in a spot of bother so off for an overnighter in London then onto the extreme heat of the desert. For those of you celebrating......tuff luck!!!.......we live in a modern world where high speed Internet is everywhere (except Spain) so those forecasts will just keep coming. But dont panic if they get a bit erratic in their timing.......Jim Fraser for the LFWW network looking for his passport!!!
