COSTA DE LA LUZ & GIBRALTAR WEATHER UPDATE Thursday 13th March 2014: Its your lucky day peeps.....its the 13th!!!......The good news is its Friday tomorrow and the start of the weekend........Now there is more good news or there is bad news, depending on which side of the fence you sit!!!......On one side of that fence there is those that will take solis in the knowledge that today across Cadiz Province at least, there is a slim chance of rain before an extended period, well into next week, of sunshine!!!......For those of you behind the fence and preying for rain, well thats the bad news!!!.....Basically, what little if any rain we see today in Cadiz Province is your last for a while at least. As for Huelva Province, your chance of rain came and went last year!!!........Today we are looking at lightish cloud but in the main sunshine. Tomorrow sun with fluffy bits, Slight chance of rain in Gib Bay but the weekend is looking grand and rather sunny through to middle of next week as I write......If you have a problem with all this sun blame Jill Leonard; after all, she invented this fb network and therefore she gives the orders and her order was for good weather!!!......Dont get me wrong, I wouldve loved a bit of rain before returning to work in the desert the end of next week but Jills wishes are paramount if Im to keep my job here at LFWW......So, with the weather being rather boring I thought I would let you have one of my all time favourite weather jokes just to get you in the mood for this weekend....be warned, its a long one!!!........It was autumn, and the Indians on the remote reservation asked their new Chief if the winter was going to be cold or mild. Since he was an Indian Chief in a modern society, he had never been taught the old secrets, and when he looked at the sky, he couldnt tell what the weather was going to be.......Nevertheless, to be on the safe side, he replied to his tribe that the winter was indeed going to be cold and that the members of the village should collect wood to be prepared. But also being a practical leader, he went to the phone booth, called the National Weather Service and asked, Is the coming winter going to be cold?..........It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold indeed, the Meteorologist at the weather service responded..........So the Chief went back to his people and told them to collect even more wood in order to be prepared. One week later he called the National Weather Service again and asked. Is it going to be a very cold winter?..........It looks like this winter is going to be quite cold indeed, the Meteorologist at the weather service responded again. The Chief again went back to his people and ordered them to collect every scrap of wood they could find. Two weeks later he called the National Weather Service again. Are you absolutely sure that the winter is going to be very cold? ............Absolutely, the man replied. It looks like its going to be one of the coldest winters ever...............How can you be so sure? the Chief asked. The weatherman replied, The Indians are collecting firewood like crazy!!!.........And on that note, Jim Fraser for LFWW Network has well and truly left the building!!!
