COUNT DOWN TO THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF ICC NO. 10 - BOARDING HOUSES. By 1960 when ICC moved to its permanent (present) site, there were 3 dormitories that provided boarding facilities for the students. They were St. Mulumba House, St. Martin de Porres House and College House. With increasing student population and the corresponding demand for boarding facilities, a fourth house, St Kizito House was added in the mid 70s. After the return of the School to the mission in 2004 and with the new Managements policy of full residency for all students, the need for more bed spaces became inevitable. Following the construction of a new 4-floor classroom/laboratory complex, the former block of classrooms and Chemistry Laboratory was converted to a hostel and is named St. Patricks House. From the beginning of the 2014/2015 session, a new building, (yet to be named and stretching from the Porres/College Houses stair way to the Oba Akenzua II Hall) will bring the number of dormitories in ICC to 6.
