COUNTY GOVERNMENT OF KIAMBU PUBLIC NOTICE KIAMBU COUNTY EDUCATION BURSARY FUND ACT, 2014 Following the enactment of the Kiambu County Education Bursary Fund Act, 2014, the county government is in the process of forming the Ward Education Bursary Committees in each Ward. Section 7 of the Act provides for a chairperson appointed by the executive Member through a competitive process and in consultation with the elected member of the county assembly. The chairperson should hold at least a diploma from a recognized institution of learning and should be knowledgeable in education matters. He/she should demonstrate leadership skills and should be a team player. This notice is therefore to invite all persons who meet the stated conditions to apply to the Department of Education, ICT, Culture and Social Services at the sub county offices.
