COURT ADVICE: 1. In case you go to court, always make sure your lawyer has paid the necessary court fees in FULL, and the Lawyer has substantial proof of payment of this fee, or else your case might be thrown out as failure to pay court fees is fatal to a case. 2. In case you have a case in court, always have your own personal file in which you put photocopies of all court documents you might have. This will come in handy in case the file gets lost in court. 3. Always make sure you have photocopies of all receipts and documents submitted to court or used as evidence. 4. In case of a criminal case e.g murder, robbery etc, always make sure you have the Police file number i.e CRB of your file, even before it proceeds to court. 5. Always ask your lawyer to explain the court process and proceedings to you so that you can have an idea about what is happening. 6. Most importantly, always endevour to attend court proceedings because failure to attend could lead to the matter being thrown out or even judgement being given against you.
