COURT DIGEST: Both sides ready for second Holub trial By Pat Faherty After a mistrial was declared last week, Gregory “Scotty” Holub, charged with second-degree murder in the 2013 shooting death of Deseray Lynn Bowles, was back in court on Monday. Bowles, 24, of Inverness, was shot and killed in the driver’s seat of her car during the early hours of March 31, Easter Sunday, in Floral City. But during the fourth day of Holub’s trial, a witness declared in front of the jury he knew Holub was a convicted felon, prompting the mistrial.
