COURTESY LISTING: THESE DOGS ARE NOT AT OUR SHELTER: Please contact [email protected] 918-798-3171 Tank is a male and is red and white, year old and weighs 53 pounds, Mama is female and is brindle, year old and weighs 43 pounds. These dogs followed our neighbors home from a walk. They were clearly exhausted and hungry (not starving) and their feet were pretty raw like they’d been on the run for awhile. We have all tried to find owners/rescue groups/foster homes for them, but everyone is full. The dogs are very sweet, love people, and are very bonded; they whine when the other is out of sight. In a perfect world it would be wonderful if they could stay together, but I know that is not very realistic. They need a loving home with a yard to run in. With the rising temperatures we are very worried about these guys during the day when we are at work. We have paid our vet to spay, neuter, vaccinate, de-worm, and they are currently on meds for the non-contagious type of mange. I have given them a dose of flea, tick, and heartworm meds for this month. We absolutely do not want to put these dogs down, but we have run out of options. Please help us find them a good home.
