We moved my family to Buffalo several weeks ago and I have a new job here. Unfortunately our three dogs cant live here with us because we are in a temporary housing situation. We found a place for them but as of Sunday they can no longer stay there. I dont want to lose my pups because they are members of my family! I have three dogs, the oldest is Cleopatra (We just call her Cleo). She is called that because being a Shar-pei/Bull Mastiff mix she has the mask (Its barely discernible now but it was much more prominent when she was younger) around her face. Shes 7 years old and a sweetheart. She weighs appx. 80 pounds but thinks shes a tiny dog because she was raised with Chihuahuas. She is also very protective of babies whether they are human or animals. The second oldest is our long hair Chihuahua Harry. We call him old man because he can get a bit grumpy at times but he is a loving dog who loves to sit and be petted. He is 6 years old and is about 8 pounds at last weigh in. Our latest pet and youngest of the bunch is Lilly. She is a Lemon Basset Hound who is very sweet and playful. She loves to run and fetch, and she will play tug all day if you let her. Lilly is a little under 2 years old and is not fixed yet, mainly because we ran into money problems and couldnt pay to get it done. She is about 40 pounds we guess, but we havent really weighed her. We recently lost our fourth animal and it still hurts. He was victim of a twisted intestinal tract and was in foster care when he died. We cant handle losing another pet and I will honestly sleep in my car with my pets before I let another one go. We are desperate for some help, but only for the amount of time it takes to get us into a pet friendly house. maybe two months at most. In the picture attached is my wife April, and starting from the top is Harry, Lilly, Cleo and our departed Little Man. I hope you can help us keep our pets through this unstable time. Thank You.
