COURTEVILLE TO PROMOTE NIGERIA,CARIBBEAN TRADE RELATION - See more at: vanguardngr/2013/09/courteville-to-promote-nigeria-caribbean-trade-relation/#sthash.Y5srjpOI.dpuf In furtherance of effort to boost trade relation between Nigeria and Caribbean countries, Courteville Business Solution, CBS, an ICT/computer-based listed entity on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, NSE, will represent Nigeria in a business symposium aimed at forging closer business ties between both countries. Courteville will also seize the opportunity of the business expo to showcase some of its products and services in the forthcoming business symposium being put together by the Caribbean Export Development Agency, CEDA as part of the company’s strategies to expand beyond African countries. Courteville is one of the two African countries selected to represent the continent in the symposium, which would attract audience from all parts of the world, the second company being ABN, South Africa. The symposium, the 5th in the series, is scheduled to take place in Trinidad and Tobago between 12th to 16th September, 2013. According to the Managing Director/CEO, Courteville Business Solution, Mr Bola Akindele, the invitation is an offshoot of the cordial relationship developed between Courteville and CEDA, as well as a follow up to the diverse discussions that took place between the two organisations, especially on the need to develop closer trade links between the Caribbean and Nigeria. “This relationship was initiated at the African and Caribbean Business Expo, AACBE, event in London 2012, during the Olympics, which Courteville Business Solutions participated as the Platinum Sponsor along with CEDA,” he explained. “It will further ground Courteville in the international market as a way to deepen our relationship with Trinidad and Tobago. It will also be an avenue for us to showcase our home built inventions using local material and young developers to the world and to show the world what we Nigerians came up with in the midst of our environmental challenges with the sole aim of boosting the Nigerian economy,” he added. CEDA is the only regional trade and investment promotion agency in the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) Group. It serves the 15 countries of the Caribbean (CARIFORUM) by promoting trade, export development and investment within the region on one hand, and the rest of the world on the other. This would be the second time Courteville Business Solutions Plc would be taking a business delegation to the Caribbean after the initial visit in January 2013, which was initiated by First Priority Group, UK and Jamaica Promotion Corporation (JAMPRO), and also a fall out of Courteville’s sponsorship of the AACBE event at the London Olympics. Incorporated in 2004, Courteville is focused on process re-engineering in both the private and public sector by providing cutting edge solutions to complex operational challenges, through the development and delivery of unique business solution models, revenue stream improvement and cost management processes. The company is the patent owner of the AutoRegTM Business Solution Platform, which has been developed into a franchise that include: AutoRegTM MVAD (flagship and highly successful service); AutoInsure (3rd Party motor insurance retail platform); AutoRegInspectorTM (mobile phone based remote verification application); AutoRegTM Enumerator (mobile phone based remote data capture application)and other customised solutions such as the Parent to School Education Administration & Monitoring System (P-SEAMS) among others. - See more at: vanguardngr/2013/09/courteville-to-promote-nigeria-caribbean-trade-relation/#sthash.Y5srjpOI.dpuf
