CP- After league president called a plebiscite for changing times of games for the 2014-15 season, the league voted. With a very good voter turnout of over 80% the league narrowly decided to eliminate the dreaded late Wednesday game (10:30 pm) and replace it with a Sunday 9:30 pm game. After negotiating with the arena manager for the rental change, this will be the first time since league expansion that all teams will be playing on the same night (Sunday’s). The new scheduled line up will be single games on Wednesday’s 9:00 pm, Friday 9:45 and 11:15 and Sunday 6:30, 8:00, 9:30 During the plebiscite leagues lobbyists such as Bill Sanford, Bruno “Mars” and others were seen outside the polling stations trying to get voters to get rid of the late Wednesday game. All voter irregularity has been investigated and there is no evidence of tampering. Sophomore president also asked about the playoff format final and it seems the old guys want to play more as over 65% wanted to go with a best of three final instead of the one game final as previous years. The rest of the playoff format will remain the same. President Staal thanked everyone for their input as he stated “It is important that we get a good representation of the league and I am satisfied that with the voting participation level that we are making the right decision based on what the league wanted”. Details of player fees, draft day, schedule start, etc will be presented later in the early fall. Reporting from the World Cup… lil guy Incognito
