Positions still open for interviews include: Bartender, Barback, Chef, Prep Cook, Server, Host/Hostess and Dishwasher Expert experience is required, yet some additional and ongoing training will be provided. Please bring any certificates you have on trainings, and other courses youve taken such as Customer Service, Food Safety or SaveServ, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens, TIPS, Leadership, Mastering Effective Communication or Dynamic Selling. Here are some tips to prepare for an interview should you be called in for one. ⦁ Smile and have a positive servant attitude. ⦁ Bring a résumé and any other helpful information as listed above. ⦁ Arrive a few minutes early to the interview and expect to be there for about 30 minutes. This allows time to relax and have an effective interview to be conducted. ⦁ If you receive a job offer, it will be contingent on whether you successfully complete a criminal background check and a drug screen, and whether you meet other hire eligibility criteria. I will then provide more information about getting started. Read your résumé closely to think about your strengths, weaknesses and accomplishments. Write a short opening statement on how YOU can help Crafty Bastards deliver premier customer service and grow their business. Practice it until you feel comfortable saying it without having to read it. This will serve as an example, as you will be asked daily to upsell and make related food and drink suggestions, where you will compete with your teammates to be the best. Prepare work samples, customer and employee letters, or anything else to share with the hiring manager, if appropriate. Depending on the position youre applying for, these may be photos or menus of foods youve prepared, documents youve written, illustrations youve drawn, or descriptions of awards youve received. We have our own menu, yet we want to see where you stand in line with like applicants. Write questions you want to ask the hiring manager at the interview—about the company, position, work environment, work schedule, or benefits.
