CRAZY PIN DAY!! The weather looked threatening all week but it held off just in time for the event. 76 players took to the course all playing for the top prize. This 4 Person Ambrose is a challenging a comical competition with the pins being placed in illegal and ridiculous position through the course. This year Geoff McDonald did not disappoint the pin placements were certainly in crazy positions as they were on slopes, on the edge of the green and even having two pins on the 2nd and 17th holes. With huge Kennedy Meats meat trays up for grabs the winter weather could not deter the players. The winners for the day with a great score of 52 ½ were Mick Cordier, Travis Dyde, Ken Brown and Peter Brown (pictured below with Geoff McDonald in the Centre), coming in second place a shot behind with 53 ½ went to Scott and Gary Clancey, Brent Lewington and Steve Donaghey. A big thank you to Geoff McDonald for organising the event as well as cooking up the Kennedys Meats BBQ for the players, also thank you to Dave Smith for helping Geoff out with presentations.
