CRDRRMC: At 11:00 PM today TY ODETTE has intensified further as it continues to move in a Northwest direction. TY ODETTE was estimated at 490 km East of Aparri, Cagayan (18.4N, 126.8E) with max winds of 175 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 210 kph.It is forecasted to move NW at 15 kph. Estimated rainfall amount is from 10 - 20 mm per hour (heavy-intense) within the 700 km diameter of the Typhoon. Public Storm Warning Signal (PSWS) # 2 is hoisted over APAYAO. PSWS #1 is hoisted in the provinces of ABRA, KALINGA, MT PROVINCE & IFUGAO. All Local DRRMCs are advised to activate their respective Disaster Operations Centers. TY ODETTE will also enhance the SW monsoon and bring MODERATE to occasionally HEAVY RAINS & THUNDERSTORMS. The public is alerted for possible flashfloods & landslides. The Local DRRMCs concerned are advised to take appropriate actions. CRDRRMC Opcen is on RED ALERT.
