CRIME PREVENTION ALERT There have been a number of stairwell storage units in Crestview Housing broken into the past three weeks. Law enforcement officials said they believe the thieves had easy access to the storage areas because the exterior doors to the basement were left unlocked. Each resident is encouraged to lock the basement exterior doors to prevent easy access to the storage areas. The basement exterior doors provide a much more formidable obstacle to thieves than do the individual storage bin doors. As always, please call the Military Police Desk at civ (0611) 143-548-7777/7778 or 7779 if you see any suspicious activity and have a good inventory of your valuables available including photos.
