Brisbane Water Crime Prevention Police conduct regular audits of carparks and hotspot locations always finding common items such as phones, GPS, cameras, wallets, laptops, jewellery left in clear view. Often stolen credit cards are used by thieves before people find the theft. Police also find people are complacent with locking their vehicles and leaving valuables in the car when parked at home in driveways and out on the street.
