CRITICAL THINKERS OF NPP LAUDS DR. BAWUMIA ***************************** The critical thinkers of npp has lauded Dr. Bawumia about his lecture on Ghanas free fall of cedis and hence our economic outlook under NDC. His dazzling in economic statistics and macroeconomics is a clear indication that he is well versed in economics and hence NPP has an antidote to our economic woes. The Critical thinkers of NPP however is of the view that his proposed short term measure of cutting down government expenditure is excellent and is an indication that, strong financial economy is a pillar of any resilient economy which NDC has failed to acknowledge in economic building. Dr. Bawumia also asserted that our weak financial economy is the major cause of our economic problems hence cut on government expenditure to encourage savings in order to reduce deficit, excessive borrowing so as to reduce pressure on the cedi.The expenditure cut explains Malthusian rational theory. if ndc doesnot rely on service sector economy, loans and taxation alone for financing our economic activities but rather practice sound economic policies such as Keynesians, says etc, we could have built a sound and strong financial economy from these economic structures and generate more wealth. Also when economic recession which is caused by world industrialized countries set in to take our raw materials at lower cost, the government will only inject capital to these productive areas and issue long term domestic bond to private sector to keep the economy on tract so as to hold inflation and interest at minimum level for economic well being of our people. Keeping our micro and macro fundamentals strong and resilient, he suggested strong monetary policy to deal with liquidity trap, financial reforms such as acts and more state owned financial institutions is strongly recommended. Critical thinkers therefore lauds Dr. Bawumias assertion of our economic outlook. We therefore ask Ghanians to disregard any one who will doubt Dr. Bawumias assertion. Thank you.
