CROSSROADS. If you believe that your decision making comes from the Lord, then the Lord will back you up and reveal His hand upon your decision. It will be a progression. But if the Lord is not in your decision making, and this was only born in the flesh, then God is not going to walk with you. Remember that the anointing and power to do ministry is never self generated. It only comes through the Holy Spirit. So if your decision comes from the flesh, then the Holy Spirit will not bless it. You will feel misplaced and always trying hard to do what God never intended for you to do. How important is it to spend time in the presence of God before making personal decisions? It is overly important!! Especially those whom God has called to do a certain task or to fill a certain office in the Body of Christ. It is absolutely crucial to wait upon the Lord and seek confirmation. It is important to weigh every thought and issue in your heart. The voice of those more matured than you is also important. Ultimately, man sees our action but God weighs the motive of the heart. Every decision of a person with a calling affects not just himself, but his family, his inner circle of friends, and those people around him. It sets him to go forward in the will of God. That is the motivation behind the waiting upon God. Dont forget, we follow God. God doesnt follow us. He leads us as our Good Shepherd. - LTD
