CRYING.MY.EYES.OUT. This is very similar to how Marlenas birth was and how birth is designed to be. Mothers in any species are quite capable of instinctively caring for their newborn. I just wish more women were *encouraged* instead of *discouraged* to take the lead on their births. I do hope that mama Orangutan felt uninhibited for her birth-its outside her natural habitat,but hopefully she feels safe in her environment Good job mama! P.S.
