CSXT ENGINEERS — GET OUT THE VOTE! Informational Meetings Scheduled on BLET-CSXT Tentative Agreement Ballots were mailed from Cleveland on November 14, 2014, regarding the BLETs new tentative contract agreement with CSX Transportation. The BLET National Mobilization Team is conducting a get-out-the-vote campaign across the entire CSX system to encourage members to get educated and then to vote on the proposed contract. Understanding the issues and voting on your contract are two of the most important things you can do as a union member. To help members further understand the tentative agreement, all CSX General Chairmen are conducting various Town Hall Meetings, Internet meetings, and conference calls with the membership. Please contact your Local Chairman or your General Chairmans office to learn more about these important informational opportunities in your area. Ballots are due by Monday, December 15. If you have not received one by November 21, then you should call the National Division at (216) 241-2630, extension 222. When connected with the extension, please leave the following information: • your name, address and phone number; • the division to which you belong; • the date you were promoted to locomotive engineer; • your date of birth; and • the last four digits of your Social Security number. E-mail requests for ballots will not be accepted because personal information is required to verify eligibility before a ballot can be issued. READ AND UNDERSTAND THE TENTATIVE CONTRACT, THEN VOTE!!
