CUDDLY CHUNKSTER NEED YOU TONIGHT! **BIG BLACK AND BEAUTIFUL - CAN HE TRULY BE LUCKY TONIGHT?** A volunteer writes: I just love a cuddly chunkster and handsome Lucky ticks all the right boxes: Affectionate? Check! Athletic? Check! Well-mannered? Sociable? House trained? Check! Check! Check! This beefy hunk-a-dunk is sooo fun and friendly, its darn near impossible not to fall instantly head-over-heels for him! He walks quite well in harness, seems extremely house trained and greets other dogs we pass with a relaxed tude and a gently wagging tail. As easy to handle as he is to love, Lucky demonstrates his knowledge of come and sit extra nicely before taking treats from my hand with with a gentle lick, absolutely no teeth to be seen. We play ball for a while then I call him over to me and pat my lap for snuggles and boy, does Lucky know exactly what to do! He hops his front paws up and proceeds to give me a full service face bath, slathering happy kisses from my forehead to my chin - oh Lucky, you dawg you! Surrendered to our care because his former owner thought he was too big, were told that Lucky is an active guy who gets along well with children and strangers (he doesnt know the meaning of the word - everyones an instant friend) and has mastered additional commands for stop, stay and give paw. Just as youd expect, Lucky aced his behavior assessment with excellent scores right across the board and now my favorite chunky monkey is all ready and waiting for his new parents to come take him home...
