CURRENT CONDITIONS IN LEAVENWORTH: photos taken at 7:00 pm on 7/17. Our very non-scientific assessment of the smoke is that conditions are highly variable. There is surprisingly very little smoke in the Icicle Canyon and the air smells fresh. Most of the smoke is coming from the North/North East with the smoke being thicker in town itself. These photos were all taken within about a half hour of each other. Conditions vary greatly depending on location and also change quickly throughout the day.
