CW: dentist anxiety .. .. .. If you can read Spanish or can google translate the page, the commonalities in how different languages refer to the third molar is very interesting. Its mentioned in the English wiki page too, but the Spanish elaborated more fully. In English they are wisdom teeth I noted that in Spanish they are called muela del juicio roughly- judgement teeth. I was curious as to whether the origin explanations for those phrases were similar. Apparently, lots of languages speak about M3 in way that referred to being wiser by the time those teeth come in.
