CYCLIST FRIENDS THAT USE THE KERN RIVER BIKE PATH: this morning on my ride, I found some carpet tack strips laying across the path between Golden State Avenue and Beach Park. If you dont know what these are, the look like old wooden yardsticks with a zillion little nails ran thru them, and can potentially flatten your tire. I removed all that I could find, but be aware that someone might be deliberately placing these out there.
