CYFBTS??? so i need your opinion: i have a cleaning lady that comes every two weeks. I pay $65 to clean my place. she started sending her mother in law, and recently another lady. they do decent work. but im no slob, and my place is easy to clean. I will from time to time find spots they missed, or areas i can tell they rushed thru. but i bite my lip, because i trust them in my home. a few weeks ago, as i have before, i recommended her to a friend who i saw today and said theyd done a nice job. so i have now found her new clients. the townhome where my kids and ex wife lived needed a thorough cleaning so i recommended her again. i suggested she come see the place before giving me a price, but she insisted $200 was good enough. I told the owner $250 just to be safe. so the mother in law and the other lady show up yesterday to clean. i walked thru all the rooms and went over everything that needed to be done. the home had just been painted and was empty of all furniture. as we walked thru i told the mother in law they would need to clean the hallway and dining room lighting fixture to which she responed. oh no youll have to take it apart and let me clean the glass from down here i had to keep my mouth shut because i was about to lose it. a few hours later i received a call from her telling me they needed to leave for a short while to clean a small apt nearby but would be back to finish. i said it wasnt a problem as long as it was done by that evening. and that i would be meeting the owner there the next morning to have him check the work and collect their payment. i got a text message later from my cleaning lady saying that her crew had complained that the place was a mess and a lot of work to clean. I ignored it and went about my evening THIS MORNING- i arrived just after the landlord and he was already going over the place with a white glove (not really) he pointed out SEVERAL areas theyd missed and i was embarrassed. I called them and they returned. i pointed out their mistakes and paid them in full, left them the key and thanked them in advance. JUST NOW I GET A TEXT FROM MY CLEANING LADY TELLING ME HER CREW WERE STILL COMPLAINING THAT IT WAS TO MUCH WORK, THAT IT WASNT ENOUGH MONEY AND WHINING AND CRYING. I TOLD HER I FELT INSULTED, AND THAT I DIDNT WANT HER TO CLEAN MY PLACE ANYMORE. am i wrong? am i completely nuts to feel insulted?
