Cabin progress today was a little slower but we still accomplished quite a bit! All insulation (with the exception of 77) is up; finished bracing the stairs; secured all hurricane straps; just a few wall boards left; removed and re-installed the window the correct direction (JOHN! Thank you Joey for noticing and fixing it), caulked, taped and framed it in both inside and out; started installing the outlets and the light switch (THANK YOU Dan for texting me through that scary step); and boxed off the bathroom and storage area under the stairs. At this point it is now habitable! YAY!!!! So the rest of this week, Tom and I will go out as we can and get finished what he and I can do and once we have enough people, we will install the ceiling... after I find a way to deliver six more sheets out there LOL! Also, my generator should be in sometime this week :D, I need to visit the health director about building my outhouse and I need to find the small wood burning stove we want!
