Always great seeing Earth To Clark, Thursday was fun. I know Alexis posted a couple videos, check em out. I took Friday night off. Saturday, the acoustic set was fun. Billy Dreamer was great, and it was nice seeing a lot of old friends in and watching Green and the Grit. 2. You know what sucks? No shows this week. None. Thursdays Xmass, and we have nothing this weekend. Whos playing Drunken Monkey / Hammys Friday? Saturday, ill be swinging by Drunken Monkey early to catch Annie B and the Complication and then heading to Back Bar to see Coolio. 3. Shows! New Years Eve You know whats better than playing in a band you love? Playing in three or four bands you love. Know whats better than that? Spending New Years Eve with other bands you love. Left of Reason, Roxtar, and Wayland will be at Back Bar this NYE, and it will be glorious. Only ten bucks in advance, and includes champagne! B. New Years Day Assuming were all still alive, Gas Can Alley will be playing New Years Day at Deanos. Come chase your hangover away with us. C. Jan 8 Roxtar will be at the Club Tavern in Middleton. D. Jan 9 Well be playing with Shallowside at Hijynx in Ft. Atkinson. You guys remember Rox in Jefferson? The Punzel Bros who brought you Rox just opened Hijynx. It shall be awesome. E. Jan 10 We return to Our Drunken-Monkey! F. Jan 18 A show on a Sunday? Yup! Well be in Madison at the Inferno. This is an Ali K show, so im sure therell be several other kickass bands. Those of you know her are well aware that Ali K puts the K in kwality. She also puts the k in rock, but its a silent k. G. Feb 5-6-7 Feb 5 is the grand re-opening party at Back Bar. What shenanigans will we pull out this year? Who knows, were still paying off credit card bills from the last one! Feb 6 & 7 we head north, Friday at Cranky Franks in Neenah, WI, and Saturday probably somewhere in Kaukana or that area. H. Feb 12-13-14 Feb 12, Thursday at Back Bar. Feb 13th, my annual F#$@ Yer Valentines Day party / Friday the 13th bash, with Mother Noose, So-Called Others, and more. Feb 14, a less hostile VD at Drunken Monkey w/ Roxtar. I. Feb 19-20-21 19th, Back Bar. 20th, Mikes Roadhouse, thats where. Feb 21, Benefit for Erin Cass at VFW w/ Roxtar, 2211, So-Called Others, Left of Reason, and more! ATTENTION- We still need lots of things to help with this benefit: 1. Vendors- Tattoo shops, handcrafted items, whatever. If you can sit at a table and sell your product, hit me up. 2. Raffle prizes- donate stuff, damn you. 3. Volounteers- need help with setup, raffles, clean up, etc. 4. Ah, acronyms. In the age of text messaging and people too lazy or stupid to use whole words, acronyms and abbreviations have sadly become a part of our culture. LOL for laughing out loud, MILF, GTFO, and whatever the hell BAE is supposed to be (my vote is for Bet youre Awful at English). Heres a few ive concocted. TALOD Tolerable After Lots O Drinks. Dude, hes annoying right now, but he TALOD. NAGFY Not A Good Look For You Girl that dress is NAGFY. ICBYVFH I Cant Believe You Voted For Him/Her Used similarly to SMH or SMDH. ICAI I Cant Afford It. Something you want/need, but the subsistence level wages your corporate overlords are gracious enough to give you just isnt enough to pay for the products the corporate overlords produce after the Goverment has taken thier cut. IDKTW I Dont Know That Word. Dual purpose. For the functional illiterate, a way of asking for an explanation using smaller words. For those with larger vocabularies, its way quicker than saying your spelling is so atrocious, I cant even tell what word youre attempting to use. ICTYA I Cant Take You ANYWHERE. The usage for this one is obvious. Congrats Shock on the 2014 win. NMD Not My Department. Useable like IDK, but more of a dont care than a dont know. 5. Yeah, no point in a meme if theres no shows.
