Our core services include research, capacity building training and strategic planning for UN Agencies, NGOs, governments and private sector clients operating in post-conflict contexts and challenging environments. Forcier currently has operations in South Sudan and Somalia, with liaison offices in Fort Portal, Uganda & Cairo, Egypt. Forcier Consulting is seeking a Business Development Intern to provide full time support to its teams in Cairo. The intern will be responsible to work for approximately 40 hours a week. Job Description The Business Development Intern will report to the Business Development Officer and will be responsible for administrative and research-related tasks. Specifically, the duties of the Business Development Intern are: • Collaborate and contribute to the preparation of project proposals, grant proposals, concept notes and other application materials. • Assist in the creation and circulation of marketing and networking materials including websites, manuals, brochures and publications. • Other tasks as requested by the Managing Director and Business Development Officer related to the overall growth of the company. Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications: • Recent graduate of a B.A. program in International Affairs, International Development, or other relevant disciplines. • Advanced proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications. • Fluency in written and spoken English Remuneration The internship is unpaid. Forcier Consulting will provide the intern with a modest monthly transportation stipend. As part of the program, the intern will receive training in proposal writing, and gain practical experience in an international work environment.
