Caju. Yesterday I had to come by and check on mom. She was pretty upset. You see she went out for pizza with the twinkies and her in-laws in a neighborhood place three hours from home. She started talking with the waitress and it came out that Paula, the waitress, has an 11-year old labbie who was just diagnosed with mouth cancer. Roof of his mouth. A fast-growing tumor. Paula doesnt have money for treatment or a car to bring him there or anything. Paula says hes so happy still and running around and doesnt seem to know there is anything wrong. She is seeking help now from the local university vet hospital. Mom told her about me and that if the dog was warrioring, she should try to warrior on as well. And then the waitress cried and then mom cried and then the pizza got wet. This, by the way, would not have been a problem for me--while they were crying, I would have snuck that pizza right off the table. Mom wishes she could save all the dogs on the planet. Dont we all? Warrior on.
