Call for Auditions for Child Singers The FASO’s next concert will be at the Alex Theater in Glendale, California on February 8, 2014. The theme of the concert is “FASO Loves Broadway: A Valentines Concert.” The orchestra will perform selections from Broadway musicals including Annie, Oliver, and The Sound of Music. We are calling for children in Southern California between the ages of 5 and 18, inclusive, to audition for childrens parts from these plays. This will be a great opportunity to perform with FASO. The orchestra has been in existence since 2009 and is the first and only Filipino orchestra outside of the Philippines. FASO (fasofoundation.org) is a non-profit organization whose vision is to achieve artistic excellence in the community, to provide an avenue of cultural growth especially for the youth, and to help instill love and pride not only in one’s music but also in one’s identity.
