Call for Participation into the 1st Cultural Volunteer Festival (CVF) April 23rd – 26th 2014 The 1st International Youth Peace Culture and Arts Festival (IYPCAF) of AINU will be held from 23rd to 26th April, 2014. This is a very good chance for all Youths around the world to bring into play your fabulous gift and talent; a free stage to let your knowledge of Peace Building shown. So here we warmly welcome every Youth to come together for this Festival. The theme of this festival will be “promoting International culture and Art for peace” around which you could display your ideas and views about your cultures in peace building through various forms of performance characterized by international cultural elements like singing, dancing, poem elocution, costume show, opera, drama, cross talk, etc. In addition, the Youths can also create show peculiar to their own country and culture. If you love trying different food, listening to ethnic music and meeting people from other cultures then the 1st International Youth Peace Culture and Arts Festival is just the event for you. A feast for the senses, you can "walk the world in a day", enjoying the people, music, dance, arts, crafts, displays and so much more from over 50 nations in just 96 hours! The festival is a celebration of Youths contribution towards Peace Building in the different communities of the world and diversity of cultures and a great opportunity for Youth to have a sense of place, feel connected and have a sense of belonging, while they display with pride the cultural variety they bring to the communities they work in. This festival will showcase a variety of cultural performances while you sample the wonderful array of traditional food on offer including, African, Asian, Indian, European and American. Youth will get certificates of performances, participation and letters of recommendation to our partners around the world to go and offer services in their communities; You can browse through the many ethnic arts, fashion show, music shows and craft stalls, experience the cultural energy in the Youth and Performing Arts Arena and enjoy watching the skills and adrenalin displayed in the 2o-aside Ethnic music, dance and dramatic show. During the four days, you will find many of the performers and stallholders are people from different cultures who are happy to share their stories and various aspects of their culture with other Youth participants. Those who are interested to sign up for the festival should fill in the “Acknowledge of Participation Form” as a confirmation and send it to African Youth Volunteers for Peace administration team before April, 10th 2014.
