Call for applications UN Women is seeking to recruit motivated youngsters from Kosovo to contribute to the 16 Days of Activism to End Violence against Women in Kosovo campaign. Selected applicants will undergo 2-day trainings in Prishtina, and will then produce a written and/or visual work on campaign’s themes in accordance with their interests. The submissions will be published on the campaign’s website (16days-noviolence-ks/) and people will be able to vote on their favorites. The two winning submission will be awarded significant prizes, to be determined in due time. So, if you are between 15-20, enthusiastic about writing or photography, and eager to make a change in your community, send a short motivation letter (300 words max.) to unwomenkosovo@gmail, by November 5, 2014 at 2 pm. Please include your name, age, place of residence and occupation/name of school. The trainings will take place at Innovations Lab in Prishtina on November 8-9 and November 15-16; selected participants have to be available to come to Pristhina (transport costs and lunch will be covered by UN Women). Selected applicants will be notified by email.
