Call for extra invigilators! Would you like to help in our new pop-up space in Ashford town centre? Our Christmas exhibition Gifts from the Forest runs from 23rd Nov to 21st Dec and wed love some new volunteers to invigilate one shift each day, per volunteer. The shifts are 10 - 2 and 12 - 4, so there is a 2-hr cross-over in the middle for lunchbreak cover, passing on any important information - and a bit of getting to know each other. The exhibition will be open every Weds - Sat. Obviously a friendly and welcoming manner is essential as there will be different types of visitors - and many will have questions or comments. Its also a selling show - we will give training to everyone covering all aspects of gallery invigilation, security, sales etc. You would need to be over 18 to volunteer as an invigilator as this is a role with some responsibilities and you would often be working alone, with support from staff.
