Call for writers and poets: Scottish artist Christopher Orr has an exhibition of paintings at the Talbot Rice Gallery, titled The Beguiled Eye. Many of his characters wander into ethereal landscapes and others are evocative of the darkness of dystopian fiction. The gallery are seeking flash fiction writers and poets to accompany his works, read publically at the event on 6 February and possibly included in print. They are seeking flash fiction of no more than 1000 words, and poetry of up to 42 lines. Deadline: 09 January 2015 at 17:00.
