In talking with Maysville citizens, I’ve heard many concerns regarding the state-level decision to turn off our aesthetic bridge lights. Below is a letter I sent to Governor Beshear. Similar letters also went out to Transportation Secretary, Michael Hancock and Chief District Engineer, Bart Bryant. Attached to these letters was a beautiful photograph with artist Lorraine Mullikin’s permission.
