Call of Nominations – Mount Pearl Annual Athletic Awards nominations Nomination deadline for the Senior Annual Athletic Awards is November 15 deadline. Nominations are accepted the following Award categories... • Female and Male Athlete of the Year • Team of the Year • Coach of the Year • Executive of the Year (The Peter Halliday Memorial Award) Please note that Athlete and Team Awards are in the senior/open category. Youth athletes who compete primarily in an open age class are also eligible for these Awards. Volunteers (i.e., Coach and Executive) may be involved with youth/minor or senior sports. (Note: youth/minor categories are part of the Focus on Youth Awards in May). We encourage all sports groups to delegate responsibility of this task in order to give full consideration to athletes and volunteers. I expect several of you are already working on nominations or have them ready to go. Please do not put this off. The Awards Ceremony will be held at Reid Centre Gymnasium on Friday, January 30.
