Call to Action for School Chaplaincy ACT. Today 230PM- Question - TopicsExpress

Call to Action for School Chaplaincy ACT. Today 230PM- Question Time. Yesterday in parliament Joy Burch stated that she would not be accepting the funding or administering the program here in ACT because of the loss of the welfare workers. She, sadly is not expressing concern for the loss of chaplains, but remaining focused on the welfare workers. In her emphasis on schools having choice, her decision will rob schools of choice. They will no longer be able to access the funding to retain their valued school chaplains. Today the issue will be raised again and debated in parliament. You can show your support today during Question Time. 2:30pm today at the ACT Legislative Assembly They need your support and want to show by our presence that we are hopeful of a wise decision being made to retain chaplaincy as a funded option in our ACT schools. Pray for Gods will to be done..for hearts to soften and for doors to remain open.
